For hor monaltreatment,menopausal state is very significant.Infact the origin of estrogenic production is different from pre to post menopausal state. Hormonal treatment needs the evaluation of estrogenic and progestinic receptors expression.Endocrinotherapy can be used alone or in association with chemotherapy thanks to the absence of crossresistence. Similary to pre-menopausal situations, chemotherapy in post-menopausal women is indicated in primaryadjuvant and metastatic desease regims.
