Una glossa aristofanea nel Glossario ippocratico di Erotiano (κ 9; σ 5): problemi di tradizione ed ecdotica

In Erotian's Hippocratic glossary the two glosses κ 9 κορδίνημα / σ 5 σκορδίνημα refer to Aristophanes' Acharnians 30 and state a relation between the lemma and the term καρηβαρία, which is striking and obscure. This relationship is not based on the usage of Hippocrates nor of his commentators such as Galen, but it might be interpreted in the light of the ancient glosso- and lexicographic texts going back to Erotian's same sources. The link between (σ)κορδίνημα and καρηβαρία seems to rely indeed on a lost source, variously attested by a set of extant witnesses, and, in its most complete form, in Orus.
